Can't uninstall BTS

I uninstalled BTS so I could reinstall it with just the first patch (the new patch is really horrible). Once reinstalled, I installed the first patch but now I cant' play it. When I load BTS I get the message "failed loading file\xml\gameinfo\CIV4PlayerOptionsInfos.xml. Then I get LoadXML call failed for Gameinfo/CIV4PlayerOptionInfos.xml. Then I get Failed Loading XML file xm;\GameInfo/CIV4GraphicOptionInfos.xml. Lastly I get the message LoadXML call failed for GameInfo/CIV4GraphicOptionInfos.xml.

Then I I get the Windows message that Civ 4 BTS has encountered a problem and needs to close. I tried to uninstall the program, but I get the same Windows message that says setup has encountered an error and needs to close.

I'M AT A LOSS HERE. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?

I don't mean to flame or anything, but my God, what a terrible patch! I can't help but feel that it is the reason I'm having troubles.

It looks like the reason I can't uninstall the game is because of an XML file in my documents/Local Settings/temp. Am I doing anything wrong if I delete all the temp files in this directory? I have no idea which ones apply to BTS and which ones are for other programs.

IMO something went wrong when you uninstalled it, i got something similar with other games.
try to install civ4 and bts in another folder, and you should solve your problem.
