Let me tell you a tale. My wife works as an assisstant catering manger in a cafe in an office in London. A few months ago she was serving in the cafe with another staff. A black lady was waiting to be served, but my wife and her friend thoght the other was serving so the lady did not get served. Just an everyday mistake

Next thing my wife heard was that a complaint of racism was made. Two police officers came to the company to make an investigation, and my wife was bought to a tribunal by the company, where she was told by her manager to apologise and not tell the truth of what happened! Basically the company, rather than defending their employee, was more concerned about their reputation and appeasment. What a waste of time for the police and extra hassle for my wife!

I don't know who to blame, I mean why should this woman see racism where there is non?

The non aryans are Europee's first class citizens. The people who created it are just a buch of scum which will eventually be crushed.

Jesus Christ, stop talking about Aryans and stuff like that, you're just making an idiot of yourself! Aryans were a tribe of people who settled in India few thousand years ago.

Blame

a) politicians - they invented the political correctness
b) the media - they promote it
c) the police/justice system - they are too afraid to stop this nonsense or they enforce it
d) universities - they pour it into the heads of their students
e) certain non-governmental organizations - they are pressing the government/media/police to adhere to it
f) PR agents - they spread it in the private sector

well, this is an example of a business putting its intrests (i.e. reputation) over the welfare of a member in the organisation.

And how is this capitalism's fault? Isn't this more of cultural issue, mainly, that they were afraid of getting sued? You do realize alex that lawsuits over stupid stuff like this do happen and companies can lose millions on such?

And you think this is right? That this is how the system should work?

If this happened in the Czech Republic, the company would not be afraid of a lawsuit, because there is no legal basis for it.

"And giving us a bad name". :mischief:

No, it's because you're a fine example of the idiocy this thread is dedicated to. You love to make stupid and baseless accusations.

Considering that Ram is Indian, it would would be correct to assume that he is Aryan. ;) Obviously you cannot take a joke. :shake: I found that comment of his quite funny, so just laugh with that hoke and think nothing more of it.

Lighten up, dude. And buy a humor detection device ;) .

I'm afraid it's not quite as simple as that. The manger is a cog in the machine as much as my wife. The manager is not free to choose her response.
Aye, the systemic nature of many operations and businesses these days tends to cause a dehumanising, sanitising and distancing effect.
