hello every body. i dont visit the OT forums much, so a howdy to ye all.
i come fro mthe Emerald Isle, good ole' Ireland, and in Carlsberg ads over here it shows Danes stopping truckers from bringing carlsberg out of the country in comical ways, with the Quote: So good the Danes hate to see it leave.

so my question, in Denmark do the ads show Irish people doing the same? (because its brewed in both denmark and ireland)

I live in Denmark, and I have never seen such a commercial. It's probably a local thing.

Nah we have other Carlsberg ads here. Some are quite funny actually. But why the Irish would drink Carlsberg over their own brew is beyond me...

there is bitter i guess, maybe once every few months they fancy a change.

i honestly dont know why we get Carlsberg Import rather than our oun brew, but maybe its to do with water quailty changing the taste of the drink. we tend to have lost of hard water over here, as limestone is abundant.

Because standard Carlsberg is brewed in Northampton.
