In this mod, Tercio equals to musketeer. But in fact, they were pikemen, swordsmen and arquebusiers. So they should equal to arquebusier not to musketeer like Caroleans who were musketeers born in 17th century.

Not really.

Tercios used muskets also, changing from the previous arquebus. Tercios were extensively used by Spain between aprox. the 1510s and 1640s; they even continued to be employed in the Spanish Low Countries until 1700.

There's no clear distinction between musketmen and arquebusiers in this mod. The latter are supposed to be the earliest units introduced with gunpowder, and they serve no distinctive purpose.

But since a large part of them use the cold weapon and square formation, they lost wars to Maurizio Nassau and Gustav's new linear infantry. So tercio should be stronger than melee infantry, but worse than the new concept linear infantry( not line infantry).

Arquebusiers have a purpose: draft, promote to CRII, upgrade to muskets = win.
