Carreers and planes...

Hi everybody!
I have just found a bug... or something strange in the tech tree in the IA.
So when you research Mass Production you can build 3 types of ships, like the Carreer, but to do it, you don't need to research Flight, so you can create a ship for an unknown thing, before you learnt that what is the unknown thing!
I have played the game several times, but I have spotted it first time?
What do you think about it?
Have you noticed it before?

Yes, this is commonly know. Like how u can build the catapault without the wheel. Its not as bad as Civ 2 where you could have automobiles b4 u researched the wheel.
