If I want to use resources for multiple votes will that be public or private information?

It might be useful to have a cap of how many votes are allowed a phase i.e. # of live players + 5 or something like that, so people don't just continually save resources to buy a lynch. Depending on what other actions you plan on implementing it could get weird.

I know. And several board game adaptations of Sid's Civ. Most of them are too complicated and long. I would appreciate some of the flavour put in a Catan inspired game, basically.

Your name will be always displayed but not the number of votes you're contributing.
There won't be that many resources to hoard more than five or so votes and I hope to make other options lucrative enough to prevent massive hoarding. Also, all trades will be public.
