    And so the new year starts with 7 teams with 1,000 points or more.

    I'm really sucking in the head2head league, but I might be in the top 5 of the classic league by next week. It's been fun chasing you guys, but I've finally kinda caught up

    I'm happy to be second in both leagues after having a decent December. I haven't yet had my usual midseason collapse so I'll probably drop away at some point soon.

    I usually don't like to toot my own horn, but I just can't help it in this case

    December was a GREAT SUCCESS for me, I ended up with the 5,203rd highest score for all of december overall (that's the top 0.2% percentile), pushing my team value up to 106.8 and my position in the classic CFC league up to 5th

    WOOOT

    There is not going to be much movement this week. :lol:

    I have won my Head 2 Head, since my opponent has no one playing.

    You can see those who had Tevez and those who did not.

    So many of us had 100 point rounds this week. Now I have so many players not playing. [pissed] Some are doubtfull for this match day that I will have a skeleton team.

    Never know what to do in that situation. My four subs are in teams with no matches, and I already transferred out Cole since he was doubtful. Don't think I'll risk a four-point transfer though.

    I'm threadbare too, but you have to gamble on the big weeks and try to survive in the small ones.

    Just like you could see who had Tevez a couple of weeks ago, you can tell who had Rooney (and as Captain) this week!

    I risked a 12 point transfer this week.. and I'm probably out of the supercup as a result.. I guess we'll see, but the other guy has a decent chance of beating me even though I'm already up on him by 7 points (19, if you don't count the transfer loss. he has 2-3 more players than me playing tomorrow). In the h2h league I have a decent chance of getting 3 points I think.

    You are actually leading, so you might still make it trough.

    The H2H league was even closer

    Tombort FC 59 : 52 Quildavyr FC

    There, now I'm a respectable mid-table team

    edit: I'm not sure why the above is written twice, in two different posts. Here's a :sheep: to distract you though

    Winners don't "try to survive". You might as well start doing drugs. Weeks with reduced fixtures can be a great opportunity for mayhem.

    edit: If my not-fully-coherent-brain calculations are correct, I am now very close to 1st place in the classic league (within striking distance, as those of you who use idioms might say).. thus underlining the potential value of a drunken 4-player transfer on a weekday when 6 teams aren't playing :lol: Then again this is Frank Lampard we're talking about here, so I suppose I should not be really surprised

    double edit: what the hell, one of my posts just DISAPPEARED. Maybe I am doing drugs after all. What was lost was something like this:

    This round: Mario Juniors ( 59-37 ) :scan:

    I got 71 points :beer::sheep::rockon:

    Thank you Super Frankie Lampard :salute::sheep:

    You know, the one thing I did lose in this whole debacle was money. Team value went down from 108.6 to 107.8 (counting the stuff in the bank)

    These were my 4 transfers (the points they got this week in brackets)

    Dempsey (0) -> Lampard (16)
    Milner (3) -> Henderson (2)
    Rafael (0) -> Caldwell (7)
    Friedel (7) -> Hahnemann (6)

    So 10 points lost and 31 gained, with a difference of 21. 12 points lost in transfer fees, so 21 - 12 = 9 points gained overall.

    I had a massive 102 point reduction from last game weeks total.

    @warpus, We both had teams worth about the same price, but now your team has had two consecutive 1 million jumps and yet you are complaining about losing money. :wow: Also you are still in the Fantasy cup, so I will be cheering you on to see how far you can go. :goodjob:

    Hehe thanks! Who else is left in the supercup out of all of us?

    What's your team value? Mine's down to 107.3 (made transfers for the next week already)
