This is the date when gogf is coming to DC and has free. He has invited me and others to come to a meetup there. I'm extending that invitation to anyone who wants to come!

I'm thinking that we keep our established tradition of meeting and eating at the Capitol Brewery outside of Union Station.

So who's interested?

EDIT:
The time we are working with is 12:45 PM, on Saturday, November 22, 2008.

The place is the Capitol Brewery, in Washington D.C.

You can find it here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=capitol+city+brewing,+washington&sll=38.864306,-76.934509&sspn=0.38227,0.892639&ie=UTF8&ll=38.894373,-77.009397&spn=0.023882,0.05579&z=15&iwloc=E

Okay, we have RSVP for the following people:

Certain to come:
JerichoHill
Cheezy the Wiz
BS Smith
Gogf
Red Door
Dachspmg

Probably coming, but not sure yet:
Elrohir
Eran of Arcadia
Mad Man
Augurey
Silver 2039
Atlas14

I'll update this as things change.

It's kind of hard to say this far in advance, but I don't think I have any major tests or speeches or essays due the following week, so I could probably make it. (It's a Saturday, right?) Things start to get crazy around Thanksgiving, so I really don't want to commit to going, but it's probably more likely than not, if lots of people go.

Oh, and we have to promise not to talk about politics or religion. ;) I'm pretty sure I could take you in real life, but let's not find out.

Wish I could be there, although it's D.C meaning wretched hive of scum and villainy.

With my schedule, I can tentatively say I will be there again. But I do agree with El's propositions. No politics, no religion, and if Downtown appears, I'll keep my mocking of LeBron James - Brooklyn Nets 2010 to a minimum.

EDIT: And who's the genius that found Capitol Brewery?

How often do those things come up in real life?

I will keep with tradition and say I will come, and make plans and rearrange my schedule, then something will come up at the last minute that I wouldn't expect in a million years, and I won't make it.

I will think about it, but chances are that I will find something better to do that weekend. Of course, I could pay a visit to the tomb of John F. Kennedy and pay my respects on the anniversary of his death.

If I come, you have to. :( I want to see your Mormon superpowers first hand.

I'd like to meet you dudes but it's highly unlikely unless someone wants to sponsor my train/bus ticket from South Carolina. :deal:?

I know there are more people than us five or so in the DC area. Dachspmg, JerichoHill, and other people, RSVP!

If you start walking now, you'll get here in time!

I think I can come, but ironically I might be meeting somebody else who is coming to visit the DC area around that time...depends. So a solid "maybe" and a definite "I will try".

Sounds very promising.....wait how do i know this is not some kind of trap wear every one beats the s**t out of me with pillow cases full of soap for all the tomfoolery i do around here:eek:(it happens to me more than you would think)

That's what happens when your donuts make us do pushups, you disgusting fatbody!

I always pictured you as a Californian.
I lived in California for a time but I am a New Yorker at heart. Californians mostly struck me as kinda flaky (especially Southern). The Narz is solid (though I've been in a weird transient sort of state for the past few years now). :D
