    Because I deplore optimism like Marxists deplore religion. The perfect world has no need for optimism; the imperfect one no room for it. People who aren't getting things done don't need; indeed, don't deserve, to be told everything is all peachy. They need to be given a reality-check that things aren't working so they feel forced to change them.

    That said, I'm more than willing to help get things done around here if anybody wants. But if I may be frank, I still hold that my main ways of helping the mod were my suggestions of how to make it more practical, and those seem to have been either rejected or outright ignored.
