Changing Germany's Civ Color

I played my first game as the UK on a low difficulty setting to get my bearings with the mod. I ended up invading Italy single handedly and realized just how close Germany and Britain's colors are. White next to gray is very hard to distinguish as it rolls back and forth across the Swiss Alps.

So I was looking to change Germany's color to Black. I made the changes in the Beyond the Sword\Mods\The Road to War\Assets\XML\Civilizations\CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml file (I switched Germany and Balkans IIRC). But when I start a new game the colors are still the same as before.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to change the colors in the .WBS file. I would use notepad or a similar program. Then find this with control+f.
