Short version: I desperately need a =]]> to start a war.
Was hoping someone knew a cheat to make one out of thin air or a point me in the direction of the XML file that I need to modify to allow me to make one without having the necessary tech. Save file edit is probably out of the question.
Long version: Playing on next to last difficulty setting with a max # of civs/states, Napoleon took over half the continent that I am on. He must have completely eliminated about 5 civs and and 10 city states and forced the others into submission. Had my own little 50 turn skirmish against him where I lost a city and took massive casualties holding back his endless army from advancing on my capital. Had peace with him for about 100 turns. Used that time to turn my battered army on China, India, and Egypt. I thought I was very diplomatic in keeping him happy by giving him gold and resources that whole time so he wouldnt turn on me again but it turns out he couldnt declare war on me even if he wanted to thanks to a bug. Now all my deals with him expired, I have my puny outdated army in defensive positions around my borders... but my massive fleet of frigates is heading straight for his coastline. He is #1 in tech (beating me by about 10 techs) with more cannons and riflemen than I care to count and a navy of about 2 caravels. Was hoping Id get my revenge on that pesky Frenchman and see how it all turns out. Also cant wait meet the unmet player who apparently has an even stronger army rating then Napoleon.
