With free CD on Xbow, and cheap walls, you only need to leave one Xbow behind to hold a city. With all forges firing, this let's you produce attackers faster than you lose attackers to guarding captured cities. Then whip all captured cities to one pop spamming more xbows, saving the forests for courthouse chops.

Sounds fun! As long as you finish pyramids before oracle you'll get the GE before the GP, then you wouldn't need to whip forges to run an engineer. I don't think I would get forges before attacking, and instead just get more settlers. Getting 2 wonders+totem poles+granaries+maybe barracks and still have some pop for chu-ko-nus is a lot to ask!
