    I remind the venerable daimyo of Kyoto that the American in question was a missionary leading astray the youth of Osaka. I would have been remiss in my duty to the nation to allow such behaviour to continue.

    Of course the Bunka accept American missionaries with open arms, a strange position for the self appointed defenders and promoters of our culture and traditions to take.

    We do not accept american missionaries with open arms. We accepted converted to shinto and japanese culture american missionaries who are now ardent enemies of America with open arms.

    As to murdering the missionary in question, it would of been far superior to imprison him. At least then if you want to take it from a scientific perspective he could of become a regular subject of scientific experiments instead of being a single use test subject as in your little incident.
