Lol, now I keep getting this, dspite the fact that I don't have it down loaded.

Click on the green Save button. Mega has a (strange) feature of downloading files in two steps.

Yup, did that. After that pop up said bad file when I went to extract. So cleared my DL folder of the file, and went to re-DL, and got that same msg.
I just double checked my DL folder, and the file isn't in there. So no clue what's going on.

I tested it and had no problems. Maybe you antivirus blocks it for some reason? Or you have Mega app installed and it saves to a different folder?

in the description "appeasement" gives tribute only to civilizations stronger than I, while my civilization gives tribute also to much weaker neighbors

also "Huge" world size fit perfectly to this mod, first time i needed to discover monotheistic religion !

should not be "+1 to relations with civilisations with syncretic as religion" ?
not +1 to relations with all civs, even these who have intolerant?

Actually I thought of that too but the civic would be too weak that way.

Ok. After using Firefox, managed to get the DL done.
Had to use 7zip to extract the file (winzip kept telling me bad file) to Desktop ironically, after failing to extract to /Mods folder. After extracting to DT, I then moved the file and patch to the correct folder.
Booted up the mod fine, saw that it had Chronicles logo in top right corner, and thought I was good. Selected custom game, and it launched fine.
Then I went into civics in order to compare to your screen shots, and everything is base game ( except for graphics). None of the extra features that corollate to AND 2, especially the pre-game settings. Let alone stuff from your SS from the 1st page. So, lol, I'm gonna take a breather from this for a bit. Maybe try again later at some point.

Did install it to your Civ4 install folder? MyGames folder is known to be malfunctioning with some mods.
OR Do you have Zappara's RoM also installed? That is also known to cause issues with AND2.

i also dont use main executable program - and2_checker.exe

instead i made shortcut with additional line "mod=\Chronicles of Mankind"
and it work perfectly for me

but my experience with troubles installing the mods is that is a fault of:
-bad direction folder (wrong copying main folder, or make double main folder in mods folder
like Mods\CoM\CoM instead of Mods\Com

-file he download is really corrupted
-disc have some troubles (old) and it can also make saving large files problematic

Yuppers, made sure.
Not to sure what you mean by Zap's ROM,. I have ROM AND2 installed ( latest rev I believe), and other than an occasional hiccup, I've never had a issue with it.

Looking at your SS, it appears that the .exe is in the patch, not the main file.
I was thinking similar lines to your thoughts, but I couldn't find the executable in the main folder in order to make a short cut, and then modify it from there.
It didn't occur to me to look in the patch folder for the .exe. I'll try again later on my next days off, as this one is a bit of a puzzler.
I've had issues installing mods before, but never to this extent or weirdness, and I've been on these boards for awhile helping with mods.
Lol, definitely moved up to my top 3 on the WTH-O-Meter.

but i know where`s problem: when you invent psychics, you can build cannons who requires only iron, not gunpowder
i would move cannons to metalurgy (foundry was a place when you found a cannons)

(it start pure civ4 and later initialize mod chronicles of mankind)

start in:
"F:\Games\Civilization IV Complete\Civ4\Beyond the Sword"

BUUT if you ask about and2_checker.exe you have right, it is in folder with mod, togheter with other important-mod files like chronicles of mankind.ini or CvAltRoot.py
