cities/borders won't display on map in editor

I've had this problem before and don't remember how to fix it. Please help!

Editor=> Registry "View"=> Territory: Click on Territory, so that it is marked by a hook and you have the borders in the editor again.

pardon my possible stupidity, but are you talking about the CIV IV editor? I'm not familiar with the options you name. Can you please clarify a bit?

Haha, I had the clean map option checked and it didn't dawn on me that was the problem. Sorry to waste your time and thanks.
