I have seen very little research debates on "What to research after <current tech> ?". Also I have seen few, if not none at all, research-polls.
I don't think this is very democratic. I am not living in a Fanatikan Despotism, I am living in a Game of Democracy.
I call upon the Minister of Trade and Technology to open a few new threads here with the question:
"We are X turns away from researching tech Y. What do we research next ? Options: A, B, C & D"
After the citizen's have spoken, please hold a poll about it.
Also: We are currently researching techs faster than 1 or 2 per turnchat. Perhaps it's better to change the question to:
"We are X turns away from researching tech Y. What do we research next ?" Options:
A, then B, then C.
B, then A, then D.
A, then C then D.
C, then D.
etc.
