As you see I'm heavy into SMAC at the moment.
This is oriental or middle eastern cities, using parts from the original mid east cities, and the Peacekeepers cities from SMAC. All eras look the same.

Preview. Unfortunately the names of the cities is right over some of my nice buildings. :(

Great look, especially with the other graphic changes (terrain, resources) : it looks like a promising set.
Thanks. I only take responsibility for the cities though, the other graphics, especially the resources, are floating around on civfanatics. I converted the pyramid-thingy from Test of Time, but that's all. And most things look good on Warpstorms terrain. :)

I'm not sure, but should not it be called mid eastern rather than oriental? I though oriental cultures are those of far asia.

I think the Oriental means something like "Eastern", so it could be used for everything that eastern from where you live.

For instance if you live on US East coast that could apply to European cities such as Kobenhavn or Paris.:D
Sorry Yoda, no offense meant, just could not resist...

You are right. We are still based on the Greenwich "0" meridian which is in England and divides the world into East (of EUrope) and West (of Europe).

Isn't that Morgan industries cities??
No. :p

And according to my dictionary oriental means eastern.

'Oriental' - of or pertaining to the East. Opposite of Occidental.

In the US, as far as I can tell, it means East Asian e.g. China Japan Korea etc. etc. However it's considered rude so East Asians are just called 'Asian'.

Here in London, Asian = South Asian (Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi). Oriental=East Asian.

Such a difficult thing, language ^_^
