Wow, I have NEVER started a thread.

Since I have few skills and am around primarily for 'color' what topic could be less consequential and more colorful than choosing the names for our cities?

With that in mind, and since I love to jump the gun, how shall we do this?

At KISS we each took turns naming cities. We could also simply throw out suggestions, compile them and let the turnplayer decide. I don't care, but since we know have a city, and in keeping with its name and our team ethos (as I understand it - baldness, aging, bad fashion, out of touch) here are my initial suggestions.

The Grotto
Ron Popeil (in honor of his hair in a can)
Gibsons (Whomp would get this, it is a steakhouse in Chicago where the average age of female patrons is 24 and male patrons is 68).
Plugs
Burt Reynolds

Let me know if this is the way we want to go.

Hmmm. I know that Meridith, Morgan, Joan, Jan and the like are guy names on the other side of the pond. So...is Simon a chick name

not as far as i know, never met a female simon. I'm sure there out there probably making friends with bernettas and the caseliyas.

Seems to me the female version is "Simone", with the accent on the last syllable. French, I believe. :D

the german wiktionary says, that the female version of simon (simone) is of English origin.

BTW, as in Switzerland Italian and German are official languages (and French and Ratoroman), Simone is not allowed as single prename as it doesn't define the gender cause in Italian Simone is the male version of English Simon and Simone is the German femal version of Simon.

We are getting a little off topic here, or not?

Booti you'll be happy to know the area where Gibson's is located is also known as the Viagra Triangle (Hugo's Frog Bar, Tavern on Rush and Gibson's).

I would like a city named one of these
Maryann and Ginger
Jenny Finch (a fellow Wildcat with Daveshack and I)
The Bangles
The Go Go's
Luscious Jackson

Whoa!!! I'll take your word for it. :D :p

Maryann and Ginger
Oh yes !

How about mil cities go for bald alcoholics, commerce for hairdos and food cities get babe names?

With all the discussion revolving around simon we may as well have that as one of the names

I think Butterball would be a great city name as it has all 4 of our team initals in it. Butterball, sorta like a partial anagram. :D
