City placing

Hi everyone.

Now, I was just wondering but (I looked up the English, American and Generic strategies for this) since the game says it gives the accurate name of the city whenever I settle somewhere, I need help in where to place my cities from the spawning point in the game. When I played England, I settled there and instead of London and Plymouth as the strategy guide says to find, I get Canterbury and Bath.

My question is,
Where from my spawning points in Britain, Greece, Egypt and moving from American Washington would I find:
London
Manchester
Dublin
Plymouth
Athens
Sparta
Per-Wadjet
Niwt-Rst
Sin
Chicago
Denver
Grand Rapids

When I played rhyes and fall this time around, the very place my Egyptian settler started was Niwt-Rst. Maybe there is more than one city assigned per square, and there is a chance to get one or another?
