It seems that a city planner tool would be immensely useful. Instead of having to remember all the different adjacencies for different buildings, which wonders can be built on which tile and all that, some tool that could help show all of that information in front of you and let you place out future buildings and improvements for that age and see what kind of adjacencies they would get. Once you settle on a final plan, it would save that plan so you could view it and edit it at any time and you moreso would just be choosing what schedule to build out your plan. Techs and civics could even be highlighted in some way to show what buildings you are planning on using.
