City representation on the main map

Dear all,

is it possible to cancel the town growing (city size) on the main map?
I hate it, when I can`t see terrain developement because the number of people in the city is to high and the city is optically shown in the neighboringfields too. I love the old colonization style when the city is only on it`s playing field and not on the neighboring ones too.
