Civ 1 images Copyright - need help

    Dear all,

    gonna use some Civ1 graphics in my new book

    but have to get permission of doing so.

    For 1 months i tryied to contact Sid or 2K support, but noone replied to me.

    Questions: do you think i really have to get permission to use the cover like this?

    if "yes" please advice the best way. Already have a delay in printing it...

    Yeah, you definitely have to get permission to use their images.

    I do not think that they own the art rights; the original studio is owned by Activision.

    BTW, where did you get the pic from? The river is not as how it is in the game.
