civ 2 exe. file

when i try to get into civ2, it alway comes up with an error that says
"Civ2 has caused an error in CIV2.EXE. civ2 will now close."

I have tryed getting the patch but it doesn't help. i am running on windows me.

u need 2 start civ in the civ directory!

if u have made a shortcut to the desktop u need 2 change the startup directory for example to c:\civ2

u can find this in the properties of the shortcut
