Civ 3 .Biq files... where do they go?

I enjoyed downloading friends' scearios. The .BIC files seem to work properly. But the larger scenarios with big files and .BIQ openers do not show up on the list in the scenarios folder when I atrtempt to load games.

Where should I put .BIQ files, and how do I play them in CIV III?

BIQ files are for Conquests. You can't play them in "vanilla" Civ3.

Vanilla Civ3 -- .bic
PTW xpack -- .bix
Conquests -- .biq
