civ 4 in browser for chromebook?

long ago, i played civ1 and civ2. after a lot of searching around, reading comments and forums, i've decided that i would like to play Civ4 (solitaire, basic) on my new low-end chromebook (dell 3110). what is the best way for me to obtain everything that i need to install? i can pay a small amount, if nrecessary. thanks!

I believe steam will work on some chromebooks. Have you tried installing it? Also civ4 is on sale on steam right now
