The manual said that all the keyboard shortcuts would be in a readme.txt with the game, but when I downloaded it off Steam, this wasnt the case.

Can someone post the keyboard shorts? Or at least the most useful ones?

I have mind-RSI from working too many 12hr days on a computer. I need to avoid the mouse.

they're also in the manual, page 207

but ctrl+r and ctrl+y dont work for me

They work for me...sometimes.

I have to use the right control and then press crtl and y (or r) at the same time (you can't press one and then the other). It usually takes me four or five times to get it to work. I hope this is on a bug fix list somewhere?

There are a couple of undocumented shortcuts. On my PC, at least, the numpad keyboard lets you move units in all six directions. In addition, arrow keys let you cycle among city detail screens. Note sure if End is documented, but it brings me to my capital's city detail screen.

In my last game, in the mouseover information i was able to see who is owning a tile, however in my current game the mouseover information does not contain this information.
Is there a shortcut or option for that?

I've looked all over and can't find where the key is for taking Screenshots.

I'm tired of capturing the screen and saving it to Photoshop, and I hate running IRFanview in the background!

Help?

Just hit Y, R or G. No Ctrl needed.

Alt R doesn't work for me. I have to use Shift Control R (Can't reme, ber how I found that...)

ctrl+R and ctrl+Y don't work for me. but ctrl+G (for the grid), does...

A couple of things not listed. These have been retained from the early versions of Civ.

C = Center screen on current unit. If you pan the screen around then hit C, it instantly centers that unit on screen.

W = Wait for orders. Focuses on the next unit that requires orders instead of the current one. It will come back to the original unit eventually. However it stays on this unit if it's the only one left in the action list. Different from hitting the space bar which means "no orders" and takes it off the list of units that require orders for this turn.
