[GS] Civ 6 ram limit?

I have been trying to load very large maps in the worldbuilder which takes very long to load if it doesn't crash. I have looked at the memory usage but Civ 6 only uses slightly more than 2gb of ram. I have 16gb of ram on my computer. Is there some unknown ram limit?

I was able to load 360x188 in WB.

The largest I have been able to load is 601x201

I have done some more testing and it turns out that civ can use alot more than 2 gb. After about 1 hour of loading or so, it starts to use more ram, up to 11gb ram as I could see.
