Huey Teocalli (12) (15-3) Sorry Huey; you're OK but you're in the big leagues now. Too much reliance on lakes to be worth focusing on.
Jebel Barkal (29)
Kilwa Kisiwani (37) (36+1) Clearly a big league star. This always will be useful. Suzerain bonus is nuts.

Alhambra (36) - Policy slot, GGs, and amenities, oh my. Everything you want for domination.

Huey Teocalli (9) - Pretty clearly this or Oracle going out next (then we get into an interesting tier of Zimbabwe, Oxford, Potala, Sankore). Huey is nice when you have the map for it, but that's pretty rare. Otherwise it doesn't do a whole lot. Plus, you're likely focusing on the bottom of the tech tree during medieval to get crossbows and other troops.

Forbidden City (+1) - Strictly better than Alhambra even if slightly more competitive

Statue of Zeus (-3) - Already gave a more detailed explanation earlier in the thread. Basically, building an army is cheaper than this. The production bonus to the worst type of units in the game and a measly 3 gold per turn doesn't make up for the wasted production.

Huey Teocalli: Arguably the weakest terrain improving Wonder, only still here because it provides Amenities. Time for it to go.

Kilwa Kisiwani: Probably the STRONGEST Wonder in the game, no matter what Victory type. Especially good for a DV.

Kilwa Kisiwani (39) - What's funny is I almost posted simultaneously with Duke William, with the same up and down votes, but with exactly opposite comments. For Kilwa, I think it is likely weakest for a domination victory, but still such a strong wonder overall that it should finish high up. I say weakest only because boosting speed of unit production is likely not all that impactful in the mid to late game. That being said, getting an empire-wide boost to science, culture, faith, or infrastructure building is still pretty amazing.

Huey Teocalli (3) - Arguably the strongest terrain improving wonder; unfortunately, the amount of terrain likely to be improved is limited on most maps.

Question for Duke William and/or moderators - given how slowly this particular elimination thread is moving (compared to prior such threads), should there be consideration of relaxing the 24-hour rule and/or increasing the values of up and downvotes? Obviously not a major issue - I'm enjoying participating over a period of time - but just a thought to throw out.

Moderator Action: A number of folks have observed that this elimination game thread is taking a long time to move to completion, given the large number of starting wonders and the relative paucity of regular posters. To move this game along, the moderation team is adopting a suggestion from an early post in this thread and is reducing every remaining wonder's vote total by 5 points, to correspond to beginning with 15 points, rather than 20. The adjusted vote totals appear below.

Statue of Zeus: Continues to be dealt an unjust hand by those who still think anti-cav is bad. That it's only just above Potala is a crime.

Oracle: Domination devalues the bonus Great Person points more than any other route. You don't need the bonuses this wonder provides, especially in late Ancient/early Classical when you ought to be setting up for unit production and conquering nearby civs.

Alhambra (32) (31 + 1) Can't go wrong with more military policies for domination victory.

Oxford University (13) (16 - 3) Science is important for domination victory, but this is better achieved through properly placed Campuses instead of trying to build up a single city to have big science output. Oxford University is also pretty late relative to some of the other remaining wonders.

Statue of Zeus: Free units? Sure, great. Refunds most of the Production cost of this wonder for free. +3 Gold per turn helps you support as much as 3 Archers during Classical warfare, which is nice. And if those were the only bonuses the Statue of Zeus provides, it would not be a great wonder! But they aren't! A universal 2/3 build time for an entire unit class would turn even a completely terrible one like pre-patch anti-cav into a cheap, serviceable fighting force, but anti-cav has been patched so it actually works now!

Ruhr Valley: The trouble with this is that it only provides Production bonuses to one city. Unless you've got some big, important foothold near enemy territory that has to be quickly pumping out units, in the late Industrial Era, I fail to see how Ruhr will come into play.

Forbidden City (30) - Flexible, beeline-able, and typically not too hard to build.

Potala Palace (13) - Underrated as a wonder (being able to slot in the 5% science and culture per city-state cards and/or permanent Wisselbanken or other solid cards), but not all that important for domination. I'll let someone else finish off Oracle but I think this is the next to go.

Please stop pretending this wonder has any value except for Alex and Gauls and even they should not focus on it. And stop calling it "free army" when you have to put more hammers into it than into army it replaces

Artemis +1
one of the strongest wonders, available even late. Up up up

Oracle: Who wants to mercy kill the Oracle?

Statue of Zeus: I see two Wonders other than the Oracle who should go before this Wonder. Besides, it's a free Army.

Statue of Zeus (17) Anti-cav units are useful. I usually have problems with niter. I seam never to have enough. Cheap pike-and-shot helps to fill army. Besides anti-cav has been buffed.

Alhambra (33) (32 + 1) Can't go wrong with more military policies for domination.

Mausoleum at Halicarnassus (16) (19 - 3) Interesting to see the Mausoleum still holding up. Provides a decent amount of science and culture, but I don't think the yields are good enough to prioritize MaH for domination. The additional Great Engineer charge is nice and likely the most powerful part of MaH, but it's not clear how relevant that bonus is for domination.

Alhambra (34) 33+1 - An entire extra policy slot gives great flexibility. For this win condition it is almost as good as Forbidden Palace. Ironic it is ahead as of now.

Mausoleum at Halicarnassus (13) 16-3 - Can be great but GE don’t seem too important for this win condition. There actually aren’t many hugely impactful wonders for dom, especially in later eras when GE can shine.

Forbidden City (31) - For my money, the best policy slot wonder for any victory condition, including domination. I don't think the extra amenities and GG from Alhambra push it ahead.

Oxford University (10) - Science is good and I like this wonder, but it comes late enough that in a domination game you don't really need the science boost in a single city.

Temple of Artemis: A phenomenal early source of Amenities to keep early conquests loyal and productive, although your mileage may vary if your start conditions are bad.

Potala Palace: I truly don't want to undervalue Potala, but a slot which mainly deals with city-states, allies, and espionage in a Domination game? Add in that it unlocks at a Renaissance Era technology which is literally completely without value otherwise, and... well, #18 ain't bad.
