It's odd that we have the Sikh religion but not Sikh civ. There was a barebones mod for Civ 6, but it does not work with the new expansion packs.

Icon/Colors
The Khanda, which is the symbol currently in use for the Sikh religion in game. Possible color schemes in terms of preference are: (mustard) yellow / navy blue, (saffron orange) / navy blue, yellow/white, orange/white, blue/white.

Leader: Ranjit Singh

(1780 – 1839) was the founder of the Sikh Empire, which rose to power in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent in the early 19th century. While some of its conquests were violent, the Sikh Empire was, on the whole, very progressive and open-minded for its time. For the Sikhs, the rigid Hindu system of social castes did not apply as they considered all people to be equal. Similarly, they allowed other religions to be practiced freely. Muslims represented more than 70 percent of subjects in the Sikh Empire. It was a testament to its strength that the Empire remained standing while other Indian regions fell to the British; it was the last to fall.

Cities: Lahore (Capital), Amritsar, Gujranwala, Multan, Ludhiana, Sialkot, Patiala, Jalandhar, Sargodha

I'm a fan of this depiction

Trait: Sant ka Marg "Path of the Saints"
Hates civs that convert other civs to their religion, engage in theological combat, kill religious units, or launch inquisitions. Or something to that effect. This stems from the belief that the path to realizing God does not belong to any one religion.

Likes civs that have diverse religious followings.

Unique Ability: Chardhi Kala!
Means aspiring to maintain a mental state of eternal optimism and joy. Sikhs are ideally expected to be in this positive state of mind as a sign of their contentment with the Gods will, even during the times of adversity. During periods where Sikhs were heavily persecuted, this forced them to stay constantly on the move.

In terms of implementing this idea, maybe district and district buildings can be purchased with faith, and districts can be moved with faith.

Unique unit: Akali
Translates to "servants of the timeless God" and they were known for their ferocity and fearlessness in battle. The Mughals called them Nihangs or "Crocodiles."

Medieval Era Cavalry. Could probably re-use the Mamluk unit model. +10 combat strength if surrounded by more than 1 enemy unit. Can be purchased with faith. Stems from the legend that 1 Sikh soldier could face 125,000 enemies.

Unique building: Gurdwara "Gateway to the Guru"
This uses the basic Gurdwara model which is already in the game, which already provides +3 faith, +2 food and +1 citizen slot. For this mod, maybe it would add +1 amenity and act like a fort for military units.

Ideas/Suggestions/Improvements welcome!
