Civ IV has achievements? (Windows Live)

I recently purchased an xbox and been having fun finishing off the achievements.

Recently I found this site

and noticed that Civ IV was a listed game.

Is it actually possible to use this to gather points whilst playing Civ IV? (not able to test atm myself)

What are achievements?

In any case, Civ IV has no relation to Windows Live, it's just in the Games for Windows program.

Achievements on XBox give you points towards your "gamerscore" which is basically how much stuff you have done in all the games you have played.

The nearest thing Civ IV has is the Hall of Fame and Game of the Month competitions... to become a QuatroMaster or a Heptathlete (I think that is what it is called). Check out the links and the sub-forums on this very site.

EDIT: There are also ladders for multiplayer games as well I think.
