Hello, this is my first time posting in the 'Technical Support' section, so bear with me.
Okay, so it has been a few weeks or so since I have opened or used my Civ IV game. I only have the Civ IV Gold Edition w/ Warlords Expansion game. In my previous game plays there has been the expected lag in the late game but nothing large. I did have one problem about half a year back or so where the game would suddenly crash with an error message (Cannot remember what it said now) during the 1300-1800s. This problem went away after a month or two. The problem I am experiencing now is extreme choppiness and lag. The lag is present in both the menu's and the actual game. The lag itself makes it impossible to play and appears to be at least 10 seconds behind. I have tried loading the Rhye's and Fall of Civilization mod for Warlords (As that is where I have been playing the majority of my games lately) and still recieve the lag. The lag is still present in the main menu but it not nearly as intense.
I am running the latest patch for both Warlords and Rhye's mod. I have not made any sudden or large downloads so I do not 'think' it is from RAM. I do not know enough about my computer to give the specs, and I am not very techy as well.
I would appreciate it if feedback was given as soon as possible.
