Civ V or Civ V BNW?

When playing the Community Patch am I playing Civ V or Civ V Brave New World?

Since the CP requires all the DLC, I don't see how you could be playing without BnW.

The funny thing is that when I start the game it says BNW. I can play for awhile but eventually it crashes. Ill have to see how I can download just the original Civ V.
