which marie antoinette NEVER said and is a slander and lies said by her enemies.
I think just about everyone knows that, plus Rousseau never actually claimed it was Marie Antoinette. The original was probably Hui of Jin, who according to the Book of Jin responded to his chancellor's report that the peasants had no rice to eat with, "Then why don't they eat meat?" To be fair to Hui, he was mentally handicapped.
Moderator Action: Back to screen shots please...
A game that I'm completely immersed in at the moment.
I don't know, maybe I'm getting lucky...
Nearly 5 cities by turn 40. Not too shabby.
I'm very good at this bit.
Dutch unique frigate is a beast, you should build some and capture Australian cities.
yes yes. I was going to attack Basil instead as I have two cities and he's currently at war. John soon asked for peace as soon as 10 turns went by. I have no niter so I'll either trade some or find some to get the ship!

The AI has knights at turn 61??? I know it's John Curtin, but jeez... that seems high for deity AI standards
One cannot simply continue after a AI zerges one of your cities in unforseen attack(I quit after America took my city but have started a new game).
A classic case of Civ6 AI in action:
Did... did she decide that she'd make a better governor than the actual governors (or is that a mod)?
The mod is Suzerain at a glance. So basically Seondeok was suzerain of Mitla, but then got the great merchant that allows you to absorb a city state, and chose to absorb it into her empire, which seems like a poor decision for a science-based civ, although Mitla admittedly is a pretty bad city state.
It's been awhile, but I decided to venture back into Civ for a couple games. Here is a wonderful start for Mali roleplay:
Even though I had a very early pantheon pick, I went for the immersive "religious idols" - it's only approx turn 30 (just finished mining) but I already have a yield 13 tile - nice! Hopefully I will encounter Nazca soon!
More details for the curious:
Very cool! I assume that is Delicate Arch to the left of the 13 yield tile?
Yes indeed! I forgot about Petra too. Petra and a Nazca line and that little tile of mine is gonna shine.
Update: More from this fun Mali roleplay -
Love it! I got up to a 23 yield tile with an unworked coal forest in my recent Maori game. Part of the reason, I love this game.
"Heaven Lake?" My scout had a totally different name in mind for it. Maybe it's kind of appropriate though, as that's where they most likely went the following turn...
I guess it's not TECHNICALLY wrong...
Separate names with a comma.
