Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

You must have had the least total amount of the DF available among all the parties. In such cases the tie-breaker is the percentage of the total available DF used. Your one vote must have represented a bigger share of the total DF you had than that of all the others, so it weighed more.

This resolution is one of the guaranteed wins for the player with just 2 votes, as the AI always uses a single vote only and vote only option A and for themselves. I have never seen a deviation from this pattern.

I wasn't aware of that, thanks for confirming.
I think I only had 1 vote I could put into it anyway, so was surprised when I won

I wasn't aware of this mechanism either. So basically it rewards you for having acquired least DF? Well, just when you thought Civ6 World Congress design couldn't get any worse ...

I would rather say it rewards you for investing everything you have.
Which is to say weird if everyone used only the one vote that is free...

As for the "Washington" city-state, I think city names which were already founded cannot be re-founded and the game picks a new city from the list. CS name city list is one name long, so it picks the next from the table, which happens to be America and there is no variation for CS city names (number for list length is 1). This is why Washington is pretty much always the new city name, I think I saw it here before.

It’s SUZERAIN time!

The Dutch built the panama canal between Leiden and Tilburg. I found a few things interesting. Firstly, I believe that would not normally be a valid placement location, but apparently the polder made it valid. Pretty neat. Secondly, the single tile of the Panama canal in Tilburg was converted to a regular canal (note its placement against the sea). Finally, in the event Tilburg is raised instead of captured, the two tiles of the Panama canal in Leiden become a canal to nowhere.

I am able to use the canal to attack Leiden. Never tested that one before.

I'm not sure I've seen any one screenshot that sums up Civ6 AI as well as this one.:cry:
Spoiler :

So, Kristina is more than a little pressed by the Ghaul military, who have captured several of her cities including her capital (which was later lost to loyalty and then "liberated" by me). Anyway, now Göteborg is heavily besieged, and what masterstroke does she perform? She produces a Carolean and immediatel embarks it next to the Ghaul city Bibrax and starts producing Mont St. Michel. I mean, of all things, Mont St. Michel? You haven't even founded a religion yourself, Kristina!

Must. Build. Wonders

That didn't stop me from building it in my most-recently-finished game! I approve of Kristina's enthusiasm for Mont St. Michel!

But maybe not the other decisions. And yes, people commented on my choice of building it when I posted a screenshot, too. Y'all have such high standards for when to build Mont St. Michel!

Wilhelmina trolling me with her cultist. My engineer was all set to finish connecting our capitol, but Wilhelmina went full troll. It looks like war is in order.
