Let me know your thoughts on the challenge! If you felt like sharing through pics of your undead army so I can show them to the team, that would be kind of cool, too. Happy zombifying!

It should have been Huangdi. His barbarian rallying ability already had the, "feature or bug," to rally zombies, too.

Seems like it could be a tie into Egypt's new Necropolis district in Civ 7.

Makes you wonder why the zombies require gold maintenance. I thought zombies ate brains, not gold. Or perhaps I'm spending gold to purchase brains for my zombie army. Questionable ethics I say.

We're big proponents of fair wages for zombies here at Firaxis.
Do labour laws extend beyond death anymore than marriage and the need to not invoke a will, though? I have seen no labour laws, anymore, mention working cadaevors. :p

Turns out they only have maintenance of 1, so with conscription it's an infinite army. And I messed up not realizing there were teams, so I had to wait for declarations of friendship to expire before declaring on Alex, so this won't be a fast win or anything. All I have to say is poor city states. And I figure if I fill up every single hex on the board, no more can spawn. :)

This is an emperor level game, the AI's and city states really can't handle this onslaught. So for those of you who love moving lots of units around, this challenge is for you. LOL :D

I thought I might be able to get around it for this challenge but unfortunately, I'm not one of those who loves moving units around.

I really like how FXS made such a creative challenge but it's much too tedious for me.

Yeah the only challenge here is moving 100+ zombies each turn. I don't think this one hits the spot.

Finished, but no challenge beside getting social policy to get rid of maintenance and getting to byzantine which is on isolated location. In theory it could be done in 10 turns lol

You don't have to move most of them. I parked most where they were or near cities to take care of new spawns. Of course putting them on alert was a pain, because I'd have to put them back on alert after taking care of the new spawn. I ended up fortifying most.

In hindsight I still moved more than I should have because the AI's were swarmed with zombies near their cities, you really only need to move 1, maybe 2 to build a new army.

That said, I probably won't do this on Prince, that trophy slot will have to remain darkened. But if I do, I'll just fortify them all and only take 2 to the next city.

I started mine yesterday on my Nintendo Switch, thank you Firaxis for implementing the challenges on the power lacking platforms!
Too bad I had a game crash because of the diplomacy viewer bug (can't even hover over what should be the denounce button!).
Took out Georgia and Grand Colombia rather quickly...but man! managing all those zombies makes me wish there was a click and drag feature akin to RTS!:)

I would rather ask, why they heal....

Anyway, I am pretty disappointed with difficulty level. From certain point (turn 10?) it is just brainless clicking, just waiting for the end with no challange. Like zombie
And Reyna makes even maintanace non existing problem
