Civ2 MPG Map Editor Does Not Load Maps

Hi. I used to play Civ 2 MPG on an old computer with Windows 98. I recently started playing on a new computer with Windows Vista. In general this is fine. I got an idea for a new scenario and wanted to design a map, which I couldn't finish in one session. The map editor won't load that saved map (or any other saved map). I can play games on saved maps, though. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone have an idea of how I can get the map editor to load saved maps? Thanks, Stenik.
