This 5.74 MB kit includes most of those Civ3 ad banners we posted yesterday, several images of advisors, a Tower of Babel wallpaper, logos, pictures of the entire Civ3 team, and (most importantly) some beautiful unit and Wonder graphics! [Robespierre]

Unit graphics look great, but does anyone think the sound effects are still pretty annoying, like the ones from all previous games in the genre? Looks like I'll have to take advantage of that modifiable volume feature and put on some good ol' techno, instead of listening to all the "ta-dams" whenever I build something and the cheesy jungle remix. In games like civ, I really try to get into the atmosphere of the game (international statesmanship), which unfortunately leaves no room for arcade-style sound effects.

It took me 6 tries and 3 hours, but I finally downloaded it.

This thing is great! The Babylonian Bowman animations are screwed up though (at least on my computer). That building we were trying to figure out a while ago turned out to be the Sistine Chapel! And those units...excuse me I have to clean the drool off my shirt

Excellent! Nuclear subs!

I thought the sound was a huge improvement Robespierre. Especially the barbarian raid sequence.

And the colossus looks different than it does in the civ 2 wonder movie.
