CIV3 Play the World Game Editor Request...

I've played Civilization 3 before and loved it so damn much, and I used a game editor to reset the year so I can play at a steady pace without worrying about the game ending eventually at 2040 or 2050, forgot what year it is.

So my question/request is, I like CIV3 Play the World even more than I do CIV3, but I can't find any game editors to reset the date back, so I always run out of time on the game before I get my country as powerfull as I want it to be. Does anyone have or know of a site where a game editor for CIV3-Play the World is? Thanks!


Edit: By the way, I won't be using this game editor for multiplayer because I only play against CPU, for now...

Look at the file Civ3XEdit.exe in your Civ3\Civ3PTW folder. That is the PTW editor. As a side note, you should consider improving your gameplay instead of editing the game. Most people experience the exact opposite situation.

Thanks for the help, and yeah, I do need to improve my gameplay, it's just I like to play really slow and take a long time.

You know, when it says your time runs out, you can always click "Just let me play a few more turns..."

I think it's better to refrain from using tools beyond the editor, and refrain from using the editor for changing anything serious in the epic game (i.e. only add flavor units and such). If you want to learn to play, that is.

Okay cool, I downloaded CIV3 and I went to that site you referred and it works! The only confusing part is the Cultural Influence editor where you can add more Culture Influence from each city. But I'll eventually figure it out. Thanks again for the link!
