I've installed Civ4 to my computer and when I try to start it up it will go to its loading bar and get as far as Init Audio and I get a message that says
Sid Meier's Civilization 4 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
and gives me the option of sending or not sending an error report. There's a link on the window that says
To see what the error report contains, click here.
And I'm taken to a page that tell me the error signature is
AppName: civilization4.exe AppVer: 1.6.1.1841 ModName: civilization4.exe
ModVer: 1.6.1.1841 Offset: 000bf051
What does all this mean and what can I do about it? I've already downloaded the patches and updated my computer.
