Civ4 on TV?

If I had a video card with a S-Video port, and bought this http://www.svideo.com/sv3rca.html
would i be able to display what would be on my monitor on a tv of any size?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: I wouldn't. Unless you have a component S-video or other High-Definition input on your television, it will be showing at 480i. That essentially means a resolution of 640x480. Turn your monitor to those settings and marvel. That's that max resolution you're gonna get on a standard def television. On the other hand, if you just want to see big stuff (and especially if you have HD component), then hook at your leisure.
