Civ4 PBEM Replacement Players Hall

I second that replacement advert. :agree:
The Persians are in a rather good position & are our co-conquerors of Shaka/Russians.
It's nice, straight, Civ4-as-it-is-meant-to-be contest with more AI civ's to use & abuse(!). :D

Looking for a replacement in Naval War PBEM, a modern era Always War game. You control England which has the tech lead and the Internet, however you have just been nuked to hell out of nowhere so it's a mixed bag. Maybe someone more competent than I is yet able to emerge victorious with this civ.

I would also like to get another player for the Pitboss I am in. It's not exactly unheard of in Pitbosses for two players to control one civ, and I would sure love a partner to watch my civ when I'm busy.

Replacement needed for Paradigm Grimes

You are replacing the replacement for the game leader, who left some years ago.
Please see post #2 in the thread for the current list of players.

You are Japanese, and in a reasonable position.

If you want to take a look at the save, send me a PM with your email address, for the password.
You can look before deciding whether to commit.

Immediate need for 3 games; Octafish http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=488309, Earth 18 Civs http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=462333, & Give Me 18 But Not on Earth http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=452162. They are all very interesting & fairly straightforward Civ-as-it-meant-to-be games. My civs are in Top 3 in each. Am willing to spend alittle time with replacement(s) in order to maintain continuity & have a smooth takeover.
It is with heavy heart & head that i must announce my retirement from Civ'ing.
As a new year's resolution i HAD to give up some recreation to allot time to other (ad)ventures.

So as much as i hate to do it & leave these very interesting contests, i must.
And the only way i can break the habit is to "cold turkey."

I can still take turns for awhile. Would like to leave on good terms with all U fine gents & great leaders. :hatsoff:

I'd be willing to take over your civs in Earth 18 Civs. :mischief:

Too bad, Kenwyn. But what about Redofish, don't you need replacement for that too if you're quitting civ?

OK by me. It will include taking over game admin'r also.

I'll REALLY miss this 1. Maya are in good shape & will be re-attacking Stalin/Russ for some qik gains in coordination with Romans & their bad-ass Centurions.

Any objections/thots from other leaders? :scan:

Pls switch to Redofish's thread for more details/posts.

Replacement needed for Mansa Musa in Octafish:

Mali are doing quite well, towards the top of the points and displaying some fair and successful belligerence to the surrounding ai.

The game is moving on, but here is a snapshot of your position.

We have an opening in "RedoFish". Good set up.
Fun straight-up game & world with mix of humans & AI.
Joao of Port has just become available. In solid 3rd place as far a score; 600ad, turn 140.

Was recently attacked by Boudica of Celts. Seems a fun little 1-on-1 war including naval battles & landings(!).
Tho United Council of Redofish World may be able to negotiate (force?) a Peace if next gen of Portugal does not want to continue(?).

Hello everyone, I need your help.

I am sad to say that more than a Decade of Civing might or is coming to an end. I've been warned twice now that this and other things are needlessly adding eye strain to a condition I'm currently dealing with.

Below is a portion of the pbem games I'm currently in and wonder if I can just retire in them as AI or if not find immediate replacements for; (4 of them I am the Replacement

Yamato
tfwbbt
Civ4_Scie
IALS
RFCoPBEM
Diadochi

I will post the rest asap

Thank you

I can take over any game I am not personally involved (except for tfwbbt for obvious reasons). Specifically Civ4_Scie and IALS. As a host of Diadochi I recommend resigning to AI. After the death of Demetrius -- you only have one city and handful of units left.
Would be pretty hard to find a replacement for Yamato. Perhaps Yamato's host can rule on retiring there as well. RFC should be easy to find, its a popular mod.

Are you sure you don't want to take over Germany and go on a bloody rampage of murderous revenge against Nighthawk and Luthor? I wouldn't stop you out of the sheer hilarity of it.

I would take Eclipse place in the "tfwbbt" game if I could.:)

Yamato pbem: I do not agree with Tigranes' opinion. Russia is a powerful opponent, never lost a core city and has a big army. This is an exciting and enjoyable all war pbem and I'm quite sure the new Russian player will have a lot of fun. :ar15:
