Civ4 via CrossOver Games

Got CrossOver Games 7.2 to install and work.
Downloaded and installed Steam.
Got Colonization installing and running (no Fountain of Youth - bummer!)

Problem is every 10 minutes the game bombs out to the desktop.
1) Is there a way to fix this?
2) Is there an easy way to fix this?
3) Would a similar problem occur if I got Civ4 BTS via Steam?

I'm running an aluminium imac 24" by the way, leopard 10.5.whatever, with 256 graphics card and 4 gig ram.

I would report this to Crossover support, since they actually support Steam games. Its funny, because I installed Colonization from the disk, and I've never had a non-modding related crash. With the new patch, you don't even need to use a crack since they took away the CD check.

It's been reported to CrossOver (i.e. Codewearvers) and they have yet to supply an answer.

How long ago did you report it? I've reported a problem before and I got a response within a few hours. Has your support expired? I only had level 3 support, but I got a response. If your support has expired, you're not likely to get a quick (if any) response.
