CivDip XIII - Dancing with the Devil!

Ive seen it somewhere before is it off diplomacy archive at all?

Is that from a simple map program or an adjudicator like RP?

Hey Arminius, could I add my name behind Magnus as a reservist? (email: slappy AT bluebottle.com ...Thanks!)

I found jDip at the Diplomacy Pouch. It includes this map. That being said, it is an adjucator. I do have to warn you guys that this particular map does not allow SC coloring, so you'll have to remember who owns what supply centers. (I'll post lists, as well.) jDip also has a function where I can cut and paste orders and it (about 90% of the time) correctly displays them. It also lets me know if it doesn't understand an order, and from there I can determine if it was faulty or if the program just didn't understand. Overall, it's quite a kick so far.

Sure, slappy, I line you up.

The map looks fine. The one quarrel I have with it is that it's difficult at a glance to distinguish fleets from armies, but unless someone else has a similar problem I won't object to using it.

I can use these units:

For the record, I believe RP allows you to copy and paste orders as well, no?

I like it with the A and F. Anyway, it will be hard without the color for the other SC, but if you have a list, it would be fine. Tomarrow is orders, then. Can't wait.

Hmm. Ambuel requested for diplomacy to start tomorrow, she may not be ready for orders by tomorrow.

Thank you one and all who informed me of my lunacy:

As per the mix-up, I'm allowing ambuel to decide whether it is orders or diplomacy tomorrow. I apologize, I am a dumb(buttocks). Either way, as soon as ambuel's order's are in, I will adjucate. I'm sick and that means nothing to do but watch TV and play on the internet. Ambuel the show's in your hands.

Dreadnought, I know what your orders are, but PM me to be official, okay?

Those units are much better. Thanks!

The Lady of France, Ambuel, announced today that she has finally kicked her mother, Sharon, out of the palace. It was said that The Lady's mother was too talkative and too free with advice on how to raise Princess Olivia. The Lady had enough and shipped the lady Sharon back to her father, Lord Dennis. "I will not tolerate idiotic advice on childrearing and country running. Mother has been sequestered in the countryside of Pennsylvania. Now, let's see her try to meddle from across an ocean."

The Lady of France has issued an open communication policy with all of France's European neighbors. "Ideas should transcend borders," said Ambuel.

When asked about her strange title, The Lady said, "I want The capitalized so I stand out better. Besides, they made a mistake on the stationary I ordered. When you get 8,000 reams of it, and you want to be frugal with the taxpayers' money, you just don't throw it away. Those were trees."

Next Tuesday starts the Lego brigades work and the following Wednesday starts gun safety classes which are required for all males applying for the free arms.

And in real life Ambuel?

i was thinking tomorrow if that is ok with the group. And what do you mean in real life kitten? about my mom?

♠ Austria Under Seige!
The Austrian homeland was assaulted from two sides this season. The Italians attempted to take Trieste but the Fleet there held them off, while the Army of Vienna fended off Russian attacks on Galicia.

♠ The Low Countries, anyone?
Belgium and Holland look rather barren after the first moves. The French seem to have abandoned all hope of capturing Belgium, favoring instead the Iberia peninsula. The German player looks to have a firm grasp on both Supply Centers, with the only threat being the English Fleet in the North Sea.

♠ The Balkans!
This area already seems like it’s going to be a hot spot. Russia and Turkey are vying for control of the Black Sea. Turkey has taken Bulgaria and Austria has captured Serbia. The Russians look to be eyeing Rumania, while Italy shows just how intent it is on capturing Greece with its Army in Apulia. Greece could be the site of a three-way showdown.

♠ Ice is In!
The newest fad in real estate is icy Scandinavia. The Germans have taken Denmark, while England and Russia are scrambling to conquer their own bits of heaven.
