Civilization 5 crashes 2 turns away from Victory on Manhattan Project

Hello Friends,
I am just 2 turns away from building the last component of the spaceship and the game crashes when I go to the city that has just completed the Manhattan project. To make matters worse I saved the game to the steam cloud to try and complete my victory from my laptop but the last game that I saved is not present in the steam cloud every other saved game is. I am wondering how to sync the steam cloud?

Ok. problem solved. I went back loaded the last auto-save and and stopped the Manhattan Project and won the game via science victory.

If you still have the savegame that was able to always cause the crash, it'd probably still be handy if you uploaded it in a bug report thread.
