Civilization 5 musical themes

Yes, KL's little theme is awesome

This seems to be the basis for the Ramesses theme, I haven't found the other clips the OP mentioned on YouTube, however. Some guidance on where they are would be helpful.

I remember hearing a peice that the composer for the Godzilla series either composed or played at some point as I was using japan. EDIT: It's called "Nocturne".

Hmm... Expanding music choices would make a nice mod. Maybe having them occur in relation to in game events too, like ride of the valkriyes when you attack with your first air unit, or something.

The main godzilla theme would actually fit pretty well as a backdrop for a war...

Computer/Program files/assets/sounds

You should be able to find them somewhere there:)

Is the music for each region set there too? And if so, are they separate files or is it one track?

A general post on how the game picks out music and how many is there would be nice, too.

My understanding is that each civ has a unique theme, and during gameplay it cycles through various songs based on the region of that civ.

However, I see posts in this thread about war and peace themes, so I don't know how that works, in that if it effects what piece plays out of the region set, or if it is a unique thing or another set of pieces.

Sorry for the necromance, but here are a few details:

Russia's Civ IV theme was based on the Volga Boatmen folk song. Rio de Janeiro's city state song is a generic song, based in Bossa Nova but nothing in particular. Lisbon's city state song is based on the Portuguese guitar, but once again, nothing in particular.

I'm guessing those two civs will have something more complex in the EP.
