[Vanilla] Civilization 6 on Mac

    So I bought Civilization 6 today since it is 50% off, and while running perfectly well at 60 FPS on High on my old dated Windows PC (AMD 1090T, GTX 560TI, 8GB RAM), it doesn't run well on my Macbook Pro 2016 15" Touchbar base model (High Sierra). Of course games run better on Windows in general, but since Civ 6 is ported for MacOS I thought it should be pretty playable. On lowest settings I get 18-22 FPS, while on highest I get 13 FPS. Is Civ 6 just a really bad port or is there something I have to do with my Macbook Pro?

    I've been playing Civ 6 on my MacBook Air (2013) since it's inception. Never really had much problems others than it was taxing on the battery and sluggish lategadme. But sometime between the 1st and 2nd Frontier Pass update it just stopped working normally to the point it's become unplayable.

    I actually just tried to log on for the first time in about 4-5 months to try it and it couldn't even make it to the title screen.

    Try playing in a window, not full screen. For some reason, this fixes all the performance issues on my old brick of a Mac (2011 model).
