I just have mod idea Civilization: Aliens inspired by one thread

Four playable factions all antagonistic to each other:
Space Marines
Weyland - Yutani
The Swarm
Predator Clan

+ two unplayable factions:
Colonists (outposts and civilian units)
regular alien 'barbarians'


Xenomorph Swarm and their reproduction system, 'hatching' mechanism (you never know which of your units are infected!), Alien Eggs, Alien Drones, Alien Runners, Alien Praetorians, Alien Queen, Alien Hive. No cities, migrating and hunting humans/other lifeforms. They also have Mutation system. Their goal is to expand, protect themselves from other factions and get final mutation 'Full Consciousness'.

Predator Clan and their culture/honor system. Not many units, very important experience gaining and promotions, various unique tactics, weapons and stealth systems. No cities but 'satellites' -> Predator Space Ships. Their goal is hunting down enemy MILITARY units.

Weyland Yutani -> capturing aliens as their goal. Can use other humans as the method of breeding Xenomorhps. Human evil faction. Have the easiest access to many units, advanced weaponry, satellites and many outposts, but on the other hand their units are lower quality than Xenomorphs/Predators/Marines and are rather... Cheap and expendable...

Space Marines -> Their goal is to protect Colonists and/or escape from the planet and survive :p Human good faction. Has difficult goal and limited resources, their units can die easily and are very specialized but are very strong if properly commanded. Marines have access to Heroes units such as Ripley, Hicks, Hudson, Vasquez, Bishop etc

Other human units: exploration and support units, military vehicles and mechs from series, soldiers with pulse rifles/shotguns/smartguns/sniper rifles/flamethrowers/grenade launchers, turrets, motion detectors, androids...

Modified line of sight system, stealth units, 'communication' system (you can lose control over your own units if you lose communication with them)

unplayable ('city states' and 'barbarians')

Colonists - they have only outposts, tile improvements,various civilian units and very basic defense systems. They act as one source of resources for the Swarm and Weyland and optional source of resources for Predators and Marines. Basically City States.

regular Alien Natives - fight with everyone, act as in basic game, defeating them can bring valuable rewards for all factions.


Ancient Ruins and Artifacts - remains of Engineer Race.


DIPLOMACY

1) Xenomorphs, Predators and Native Aliens are always in war with everyone else although they don't have to fight everyone to win.

2) Weyland, Marines and Colonists are in peace in the beginning but it is very possible for all of them to fight.

3) Space Marines can also 'negotiate short truce' with Xenomorphs (like in Ripley and Queen scene) and Predators (like in AvP)
 
Ehhh, maybe a scenario?
 
Sorry, definitely not for me. No aliens as a playable faction (or sponsors) I am interested to play only as humans.
