Civilization Chronicles

The question is;
Will all the old civs work with modern computers?

Sounds awesome, but it has gotta be pricey. Look at Civ 4 its been out for a year or longer and it is still 50 bucks, go figure. :confused: I guess I try to save the money.

They missed including SMAC. :(

Indeed, I'd liked to have seen them giving people the oppertunity to learn SMAC & SMACX too.
But I believe that this package is for fans that have learned about civ since version 3 or 4. Since you'll otherwhise already have a copy of the other ones.

do you think that this special edition will also contained all the patches for civ1,2,3,4 ?
or must we download all of them?

where can i found more information about that
what's in the packaging?

I'm not entirely sure why you would want to play Civ I, other than for nostalgia reasons. There's still an argument for playing Civ 3 (I play it on my lappie, which crawls for Civ 4).

Havings said that, it would be interesting to see how quickly it runs. I remember it taking an absolute age to build the world at the beginning - a sense of anticipation not seen since Commodore 64 cassette loading times :)
