Civilization II Multiplayer

Hi. I have had a version of Civ II Multiplayer for a while now and would like a game on the net. Im not sure which version (Just says multiplayer on the box - not classic, gold etc), do I need any patches, updates etc to play online?

Please advise.

That'll be ultimate civ2 not civ2 gold.

I would find a copy of civ2 gold (which you'll need to patch to 1.3), on the net or elsewhere not very ligitiamtly *grins*. its about 65 MB so if you have broadband that's easy.

If I was looking for a copy of civ2 gold on the net, I wonder where I would find one - not that I would download it - but if someone could post a url - just for interest - that would be great!
