A thread to discuss the choice of civ.

First of all, we need a impartial referree for the pick § Please, if an CFC admin can help us ! :goodjob::goodjob:

So far, after the ban, the available civs are :

    America (USA)
    Austria
    Aztec
    Byzantium
    Carthage
    Celts
    Denmark
    Egypt
    Ethiopia
    France
    Germany
    Greece
    Inca
    India
    Iroquois
    Japan
    Maya
    The Netherlands
    Ottoman Empire
    Persia
    Polynesia
    Roman Empire
    Russia
    Siam
    Songhai
    Sweden

    civ picking system

    - Each players do a list of 4 civs
    - Each first choice is examinate. If you are the only one to have choose this civ, you have it and this civ is eliminated. if 2 players or more have choosen this civ, no one have it and the civ is eliminated.
    - The second choice is examinate without the eliminated civs with the same principle.
    - same principle for 2nd and 3rd choice.

As soon as we know the name of the referee, we can send him our list.

Do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions. :goodjob:

Shouldn't this be in the team forum?

No this is the official topic where everyone announces their civs. We make our own in the team forum.

Yes indeed, this is not the CFC team thread. And do not post your choice here, we need someone independant to do the resolution after the choice are made.

The J ? Are you involved in a team in this game? Otherwise, you can help us by centralized all the civ list.

Nope, I'll not be playing this game. I also don't have Civ5, so I cannot really judge about which civ would be good or bad.
But I'm not sure if I can be considered neutral :dunno:.

If you really can't find a referee, you can create a secure hash of your civilization picks and post it here. (Maybe include a nonsense word so other teams can't reverse engineer it.)

    For example,
    Code:
    cb092aa0c1f160fc0e987dba94eb4d22f05f4617

Then each team reveals their pick and verifies the other teams' hashes are valid.

    For example,
    Code:
    Russia
    Sweden
    Songhai
    Siam
    hunter2

Pretty good idea. If everybody is ok, we could do that.

So how do i reveal that? Who can assure, that my reveal is the same as the code shows?

Ok, got it, took me a little thinking.

Since the overall number of civs is quite small, I'd say that it's not really sufficient.

    Received it :).

What do we do if one or more teams end without a civ?
Will/should the final choice of civs be disclosed here, or should this stay private?
I guess both could be interesting for strategy discussions (and for the RPG).
